Defining Humanities may a difficult task; however, it can be said in a few words that it is an academic discipline which deals with the study of the ‘Human Condition’, utilizing methodologies that are usually analytical, critical or speculative. The wide range of subjects that come under the umbrella term of Humanities range from anthropology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, English, Hindi and Education. Thus, it is a broad category encompassing several disciplines that cannot be studied under the natural sciences. 


There are many streams in humanities and art where you can take admissions. 

Bachelor of Arts: 

Bachelor of Arts or BA is an undergraduate program. It comes under the discipline of Humanities & Arts. BA is a 3 years program divided into six semesters. The School offers two programs under the Bachelor of Arts, one BA (Pass) and another BA (Honours).

Master of Arts:

Master of Arts (MA) is a post-graduation level course which is of two years duration divided into four semesters. MA is a specialized course in which aspirants are offered in-depth knowledge of the discipline they have selected. The School offers Master of Arts in two disciplines namely Sociology and Psychology. 

Bachelor of Library & Information Science:

Bachelor of Library and Information Science is a one year professional course. Students can do this course after completing graduation.We all know the importance of library because without library nobody can find proper content and information of things so Bachelor of Library and information Science program is in high demand by organizations all over the world that house a library and want to keep it well updated. Students can find jobs in both public and private sectors.

Bachelor of Social Work:

Social work is a professional subject. Under this subject, students learn dealing with social challenges in a scientific and professional way so that solution of the problem is made permanent by the social worker, and not temporary. This course prepares students to work in a rapidly changing environment where ever-increasing challenges await them. Along with the classroom teachings, the skills and knowledge of the students are also promoted through training in the subject at the field. BSW develops your intellect, personality, ethics and skills to work professionally. This is a professional course which understands the need of time.

Master of Social Work:

Social Work focuses on right and justice based approach especially, it prepares students for advanced social work practices with its education at master level which is catered by Master in Social Work (MSW) program. It offers field work training along with theoretical knowledge.. After completion of MSW course students are able to serve the society at an individual, group and community level in a pure scientific manner. They also learn empathy management.
